Maintenance Staff

Description Slammer and Squire, located in St Augustine, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Maintenance Staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. General Purpose Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required. Provides general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior and interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trashcans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture. Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed. Regular and reliable attenda Performs other duties as required. Education and Experience Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates and Licenses No certifications or licenses are required. Preferred High School diploma or GED Valid Driver’s License Up to five (5) years of experience Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
