Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,028 per week

Position Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. The position requires 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week on a travel contract. Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of care plans for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within setting guidelines, complying with facility and state regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Use adaptive equipment appropriately. Modify care plans based on patient condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of physical therapy experience; new graduates encouraged. Preferred 1 year of experience. State‑specific license and Board rules compliance. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
