About the Opportunity
Talent Corps is seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to oversee and enforce safety compliance on a long-term construction project in Cartersville, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional looking for stability, with a project expected to last over one year.
Qualified candidates may be hired directly by Talent Corps' client or begin as a temporary employee with the opportunity to transition into a full-time permanent position based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs and procedures.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety standards.
- Promote a positive safety culture and serve as the primary safety resource for the project team.
- Coordinate with project management to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction or industrial safety management experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and enforce safety standards in a professional manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $34.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Long-term project assignment (1+ year).

Disqualifying Offenses:
- No felony convictions within the past 7 years.
