Pathology Lab Support Associate

responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day management, routine checks, and vendor coordination for ~13 IHC instruments, including Roche and Agilent systems.
• Perform essential instrument maintenance including prime cycles, cleaning, and decontamination to ensure uptime.
• Lead digital imaging operations by scanning stained slides and managing high-quality data uploads into LIMS and image repositories.
• Maintain rigorous quality checks on scanned images and metadata to ensure accuracy for stakeholders.
• Manage reagent inventory and consumables to prevent lab downtime, coordinating restocking with internal teams.
• Ensure all lab activities strictly adhere to SOPs and safety compliance standards.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory or technical support setting.
• Hands-on experience maintaining Pathology or Histology equipment (e.g., Roche Discovery/BenchMark Ultra, Agilent Omnis, or Leica Spectra).
• Proven experience with IHC staining workflows and digital slide scanning.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in an operations-focused (non-bench research) role.
