Bagel Chef Requirements & Qualifications

2+ years of restaurant management experience
Strong understanding of COGS, labor, inventory, sales, and restaurant profitability
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial results and drive operational improvements
Excellent organizational leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience in bakery, bagel, café, or fast-casual concepts

Restaurant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead daily restaurant operations, setting the pace, energy, and culture for your team
Monitor and manage all production, service, cleanliness, people, and financial outcomes
Directly coach, train, and develop team members and build a strong internal leadership pipeline
Ensure exceptional bagel quality and maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
Own and report on P&L, controlling cost of goods, labor, inventory, and waste
Deliver remarkable hospitality, engaging guests and representing the company in the local community
Support and execute catering, local marketing, and neighborhood outreach initiatives
