As a full-time Parts Inventory Manager at Hendrickson Enterprises , you'll maintain appropriate stock levels to ensure we're always ready when customers need us! We help keep emergency department and commercial business vehicles on the road, and you'll make sure we have all the right tools for every job.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Parts Inventory Manager plays an important part in maintaining efficient workflows by ensuring that our service technicians have all the materials they need for the job. You'll need sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset as you manage our inventory levels, monitor parts availability, maintain accurate records, and order materials before we run out. Profitability will be one of your key focuses, and you'll find ways to meet our inventory needs while controlling departmental costs. This includes strengthening vendor relationships, weighing pricing options, and identifying new procurement sources.

As a leader for the parts team, you'll help build up your personnel and ensure everyone's doing their part to support successful business operations. Collaborating with technicians, service managers, operations teams, and executive managers, you'll help ensure that we're always ready to serve customers' towing, recovery, and fleet needs!

PARTS INVENTORY MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have at least one of the following:

• 3+ years of experience with automotive parts management, truck repair, or fleet/towing operations
• Experience with fleet maintenance, towing equipment, heavy-duty trucks, and/or emergency vehicles

You will also need:

• Experience managing the parts department for a dealership, fleet, towing, repair, or emergency services company/organization
• Experience using inventory management or parts management software
• Experience handling purchase orders, work orders, warranty claims, and core returns
• Solid knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts
