Location: BFA of LA – Prairieville, LA Job Type: Full Time Schedule : Monday-Friday The Electrician is responsible for assembling harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components in heavy equipment systems. Diagnostic proficiency: the ability to use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve electrical issues is crucial Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, orders, or reports. Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits. Test product to ensure conformance to specifications. Read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and use tools to fit electronic components. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical systems: This includes knowledge of circuitry, wiring, diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques Knowledge of heavy equipment systems: Familiarity with engines, hydraulics, and transmissions in addition to electrical systems is beneficial. Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and regulations is paramount.
