Senior Project ManagerTrileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, real estate, and financial industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and many branch offices throughout the U.S.The Senior Project Manager supervises a larger team of environmental staff and manages more complex, higher-value client relationships than a Project Manager, while building toward the broader team leadership, business development, and financial oversight responsibilities of a Group Manager. This role accepts and delegates projects across an expanded client portfolio, mentors Project Managers and staff, and contributes to business development and proposal efforts. Requires significant experience managing environmental due diligence projects and staff, including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise a larger team of environmental scientists and/or Project Managers (typically 6-10+ direct and indirect reports)Perform semi-annual performance reviews for all direct reportsAccept and delegate environmental due diligence projects across an expanded client portfolioPerform QA/QC review on projects and proposals prior to submission, including reviewing the work of Project Managers and staffMentor and provide guidance to Project Managers and less experienced staff on technical, client management, and project execution mattersManage more complex and/or higher-value client accounts and projects, serving as the primary point of contact for designated clientsSupport business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities with existing and prospective clientsAssist in the preparation of proposals and scoping for complex projectsTrack and report project and team financial performance, including budget, billing, and profitability, to business leaders.Assist with the development of training material and enforcement of corporate policiesOther duties as assignedRequired Skills & Abilities:Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment and/or NEPA experience requiredStrong knowledge of environmental due diligence practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standardsDemonstrated experience managing and mentoring staffStrong client relationship management skills, with the ability to serve as primary point of contact for complex accountsSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage workload with sound judgmentStrong oral and written communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detailThorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)Ability and willingness to travelExperience in the wireless telecommunications industry preferredEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field required5+ years of experience in environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs and/or NEPA), including at least 2 years of staff or project supervisory experienceLicenses and Certifications:Valid driver's license requiredEnvironmental Professional (EP) designation, Professional Geologist (PG), or Professional Engineer (PE) preferredPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
