Phlebotomist

Overview Phlebotomist – PAML Labcorp, Yakima, WA. Join our mission to improve health and lives. Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Additional Job Standards Application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the state license requirement. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
