This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Financial Manager/Comptroller I Annual Salary: Level I D33A$70,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Minimum Qualifications Level I: Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field; and five (5) years of experience in professional accounting, or closely related work; including two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity; OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Responsibilities: Developing and managing personnel and operating budget - manages assigned division budget, coordinates with division on personnel and operating budget activities, develops and prepares annual budget work program. Reviewing budget funding requests for merit and authenticity - reviews budget funding requests, validates grants awarded and funding sources, and approves budget. Reviewing and approving expenditures and obligations - review and approve purchase requisitions and eligible expenditures. Preparing budget analysis reports and budget estimate - reviews budget to actual expenditure report and variance analysis. Ensuring compliance with established budget controls and business processes - assist in establishing and implementing budget controls in accordance with budget policies and state statute as well as Federal regulatory.
