If you're driven by hard problems, energized by rapid innovation, and ready to make an impact on next-generation flight systems, you belong here.Our Electrical Engineer II is an early-career role responsible for supporting the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Engineers in this role will assist in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components while collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions.Responsibilities:Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for UAS platforms.Support the production and documentation of wire harnesses using Altium and other tools.Diagnose and resolve basic circuit issues on UAS platforms.Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms.Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems.Conduct electrical tests and assist in developing test procedures to verify system functionality.Work with production teams to address non-conformance issues and implement solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to UAS systems or similar projects (internships or academic experience welcomed).Familiarity with Altium or similar design tools.Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Pay Ranges by level:Level II - $108,000 - $130,000Pay range for this role $108,000 - $130,000 USDWhat's in it for you:Competitive total compensation packageComprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more.401k with company-match3 weeks of paid time off each year40 hours of sick time12 annual company holidaysWhy Join Zone 5 Technologies?Innovative Environment: Work on cutting-edge technology that is shaping the future of defense and aerospace.Collaborative Culture: Join a team of passionate professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
