General Manager 4 - Food

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4, Food to lead our dining operations at Fort Hudson Nursing Center , a skilled care and independent living facility serving approximately 280 residents. Fort Hudson is located along the Hudson River in Washington County, Fort Edward, New York , which offers a blend of historic significance, scenic beauty, and small-town charm. Located just 20 to 25 minutes from both Lake George and Saratoga Springs. What You’ll Do Have oversight of daily dining operations (decentralized dining, dining room service, adult day care and PACE program). Deliver high-quality food service. Achieve company and client financial targets and goals (fee account). Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships. Develop strategic plans. Create a positive environment. What You Bring Five or more years of previous food service management experience at a director/general manager level, ideally in a healthcare environment. A work history demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively. The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service. The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficiency in computer skills and report management experience.
