Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center provides a collaborative and engaging atmosphere where healthcare professionals work closely together to deliver comprehensive care. As a Physical Therapist at our San Jose facility, you will enjoy working onsite in a supportive environment while adhering to a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Your contribution in this role is vital as we strive to meet the growing patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and address the specific goals and needs of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based, cost-effective treatment methods aimed at improving patients' mobility and quality of life.
• Minimize reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical alternatives and innovative rehabilitation techniques.
• Create comprehensive care plans that employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs based on individual assessments and progress evaluations.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their therapy sessions to foster optimal recovery and functional improvement.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to discuss treatment progress and adapt plans as needed.
• Document all services provided in detail, maintaining clear communication with both patients and team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Physical Therapist will primarily involve patients with private medical insurance who seek specialized orthopedic outpatient care. These individuals may present with various conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. By focusing on personalized treatment, you will help these patients regain their strength and functionality while promoting an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No disciplinary actions against your medical license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing individualized exercise routines to facilitate patient progress.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, and the ability to utilize it efficiently for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Strong background in implementing evidence-based practices to achieve measurable patient outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
