Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in San Jose, CA. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation center in San Jose, California. The center is equipped with cutting-edge tools and resources designed to facilitate effective treatment. You will work as part of a collaborative team that includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for optimal work-life balance while serving our community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed assessments to identify patients' therapeutic needs and establishing individualized treatment plans.
• Managing a caseload by efficiently working with one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
• Implementing cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance the patients' mobility and overall well-being, reducing reliance on medication and surgical interventions.
• Employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions, tailored specifically to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Documenting all patient interactions, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes to maintain transparent communication within the care team and with patients.
• Educating patients on physical health topics, encouraging them to embrace healthy lifestyles through strength, flexibility, and coordination enhancement.
• Actively collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus will be on orthopedic patients who are seeking therapeutic support to recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and encouraging environment, motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation processes, and guiding them toward sustainable health improvements.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and clean license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A proven track record free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Experience and expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation environments.
• Competency in handling various EMR systems, specifically familiarity with WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who demonstrate a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and have practical experience conducting tailored exercise regimens. Knowledge of modern rehabilitation tools and methodologies will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, contingent on experience and qualifications.
