Work Environment

This position is onsite at our San Jose facility, allowing for close collaboration with a small team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). As we cater predominantly to clients with private medical insurance, you will engage with patients in a supportive setting that promotes not just physical healing but an overall healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique objectives and requirements of each patient to formulate a tailored treatment plan that addresses their needs.
• Maintain a focused patient load, treating one individual per hour to ensure comprehensive and attentive care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to administer effective, cost-efficient treatment modalities that enhance mobility and function.
• Promote non-pharmacological interventions, reducing the reliance on medications and advocating for sustainable alternatives like physical therapy interventions.
• Develop a variety of treatment strategies, integrating different therapeutic techniques suitable for each patient's condition.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs, ensuring they align with the specific recovery goals of each individual.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering resilience and a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Teach patients techniques to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination as part of a holistic rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of the patients' health.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes continuously and adjust care strategies as needed, communicating effectively with patients regarding their progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to patient care, therapies provided, and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily focused on treating patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting, caring for individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your approach will center on enhancing their quality of life through evidence-based practices, focusing on the restoration of function and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, without any record of disciplinary actions or board issues.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is a significant advantage, enabling you to hit the ground running in delivering specialized care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full benefits will also be provided, ensuring that you are well-supported in your professional and personal life.
