This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in San Jose, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients through various established tests, including range of motion and functional assessments, to determine the extent of impairment and establish an effective treatment plan.
• Develop customized treatment plans detailing therapeutic goals aligned with medical advice and individual patient objectives, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing performance and progress.
• Administer hands-on patient care utilizing advanced physical therapy modalities including, but not limited to, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on self-management strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that promote recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Serve as a pivotal consultant for physicians and healthcare providers, offering expert insights into patient physical function, therapy progress, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Supervise and train support personnel and non-professional staff involved in delivering patient care, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic is committed to understanding each patient's specific background and rehabilitation goals, allowing for tailored care that optimally supports their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, ideally within an outpatient setting.
• History of maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications are essential, candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as orthopedic manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also advantageous as it facilitates streamlined documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
