Key Responsibilities

• Engage with 1-2 patients per hour, providing individualized therapy sessions that cater to specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize proven evidence-based techniques and current methodologies to optimize patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote recovery.
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, therapeutic outcomes, and patient feedback.
• Document patient care meticulously using WebPT, ensuring accurate records and seamless communication with other healthcare specialists involved in the patient's care.
• Lead educational sessions for patients and families, empowering them with knowledge about rehabilitation practices and home exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with adults and seniors undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. You will handle a variety of cases, including post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Your clinical expertise will significantly contribute to enhancing patients' movement capabilities, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active California Physical Therapist license or be eligible to obtain one.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on customized patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
