Work Environment

Working onsite in our modern outpatient facility, you will have direct access to the latest rehabilitation equipment and tools necessary to deliver effective patient care. Our work environment emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and patient-centered practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish patient needs and treatment goals, creating personalized care plans for rehabilitation.
• Employ a hands-on approach to provide therapeutic treatments that enhance patient mobility and reduce pain, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and strength training.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring that each session is focused on delivering high-quality, individualized care.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize functional improvement while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Motivate and educate patients about their treatment processes and the importance of adhering to their rehabilitation plans.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy, documenting progress and communicating changes to patients and interdisciplinary team members to inform care adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, utilizing our EMR system for efficient documentation and tracking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals with private medical insurance, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. We cater to athletes, active individuals, and those seeking to improve their functional capabilities in daily life. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them through the rehabilitation process, supporting them in achieving their wellness and fitness goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in California, with no prior disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise routines tailored to patient needs.
• Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to enhance documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is required, additional experience with sports medicine, injury prevention, or specialized rehab techniques will be highly valued. Applicants with strong communication skills and a proven track record of successful patient outcomes will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
