Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Physical Therapist to join our team in San Jose, California. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional orthopedic care in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

This role is set in an onsite outpatient clinic where you will see a diverse patient population. Your work will primarily be during weekdays, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will be part of a dynamic healthcare team that collaborates routinely to ensure comprehensive care and superior patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify individual goals and physical therapy needs, enabling the development of customized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating time to each individual to ensure effective and personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to improve mobility and physical function.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, regularly modifying them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in our EMR system, specifically utilizing WebPT.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process, instilling a positive outlook towards their recovery.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to each patient's rehabilitation.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness through regular follow-ups and modify plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, particularly with patients recovering from surgeries.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Experience in utilizing advanced treatment modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
