As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work with patients primarily covered by private insurance, delivering therapy in a supportive and motivating environment.

Work Environment

The on-site rehabilitation center provides a dynamic work environment, where our team members get to interact with a diverse patient population. You will work alongside fellow physical therapists and support staff, promoting teamwork while maximizing patient outcomes. With a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our facility encourages a well-rounded work-life balance while ensuring a consistent flow of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' functional abilities, disabilities, and goals.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient feedback, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, adjusting as needed, to effectively address patients' rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain documentation on patient care, progress, and outcomes through EMR systems like WebPT.
• Monitor patient adherence to treatment regimens while motivating them to achieve their physical health goals.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive health practices that promote recovery.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, making data-driven adjustments to therapy plans.
• Document patient progress and care provided during each session for continuity of care and quality assurance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior physical therapy staff and interns.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center predominantly serves patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, sporting injuries, and post-operative recovery. By focusing on promoting functional mobility and independence, our Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in transforming patients' experiences and quality of life. You'll also work with individuals aged from young adults to seniors, ensuring that our treatment approaches accommodate their specific physiological and psychological needs.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
• Experience navigating EMR systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy:

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly in a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in developing exercise regimens customized to individual patient needs.
• Excellence in patient communication and motivational strategies to enhance engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits
