Work Environment

This role is primarily based in the comfort of our patients' homes, offering a unique setting that enhances patient engagement and recovery. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collaborating closely with patients and their families to create a supportive care atmosphere. This work structure allows flexibility and preserves work-life balance, as you will have a clear schedule that aligns with both your professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to develop comprehensive, personalized treatment interventions that prioritize their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct hands-on therapy sessions with 1 to 2 patients per hour, utilizing advanced evidence-based techniques to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress using the WebPT software, ensuring all care plans are meticulously recorded for effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Develop innovative treatment plans and update them as needed, adapting interventions based on real-time feedback and patient progress.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate and motivate them, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance that encourages compliance and commitment to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative individuals to those dealing with chronic pain or movement impairments. Our diverse patient clientele includes various age groups, all requiring customized rehab strategies. Your ability to adapt your treatment methods to meet differing needs will be crucial in driving favorable patient outcomes and advancing their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation with clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary to foster positive patient relationships.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards in patient care and professional conduct.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy preferred.
• Familiarity with WebPT or similar documentation systems to streamline patient record management.
• Previous experience in a home care setting is advantageous yet not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
