STAFF MANAGEMENT AUDITOR

$7,530 - $9,823 per month

$7,530.00 - $9,823.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Lead Auditor who uses analytical, critical thinking, and investigative skills to conduct performance, financial, and information systems audits. Working Conditions The incumbent must be able to work in a high‑rise building. The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI’s Telework Policy. Travel expenses are not reimbursed; other authorized transit subsidies may exist for those who qualify. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Internal Audit Unit Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the most complex and sensitive audits, including: Financial audits Performance audits Information systems audits The Staff Management Auditor will lead and provide professional expertise to associate management auditors and participate in government decisions that may have material effects on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete a Statement of Economic Interest in accordance with the Conflict of Interest Code.
