Romanoff Group is hiring a Plumbing Estimator to join our employee-owned team in Charlotte. You'll prepare accurate bids for commercial, residential and multifamily plumbing projects, working closely with project managers, vendors and general contractors. This is a Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm role with excellent benefits including employee stock ownership.

What you'll do

• Download and review bid documents, set up project folders and schedule bid review meetings.
• Perform equipment counts, assess installation labor requirements and create equipment and material lists from builder and GC plans.
• Provide installation designs, coordinate takeoff lists and perform digital takeoffs.
• Send RFQs to vendors, manage quote responses and verify drawing dates, RFIs and addendums on proposals.
• Update project status logs when bid, lost or awarded, and respond to GC and vendor questions promptly.
• Schedule and conduct handoff meetings with project teams after awards.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of plumbing construction experience, with at least 4+ years in estimating.
• Multifamily plumbing project experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and installation methods for commercial and residential work.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and estimating software such as Wrightsoft.
• Digital takeoff experience.
• Project management experience.

You'll report to the Estimating Manager or Operations Director and support projects across residential, multifamily and commercial sectors.
