Position Highlights Specialty: Orthopedic Physician Assistant We welcome both experienced Physician Assistants and new graduates with orthopedic experience or a strong interest in orthopedic surgery.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible New York State Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification required
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills

• Opportunity Details:
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients in both clinic and hospital settings
• First assist in the operating room alongside orthopedic surgeons
• Perform inpatient consultations, postoperative rounding, and follow-up care
• Assist with fracture management, splinting, casting, injections, wound care, and other office-based procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care providers, rehabilitation services, emergency medicine, and specialty consultants
• Opportunity to develop advanced orthopedic skills while working with a high-volume, collaborative practice

This may include productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

EDUCATION: BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
