Overview The Bursar's Office at NYMC is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to provide support in managing student accounts and related financial processes. This position is covered under the 1199 union agreement and offers flexible scheduling within a 10-hour weekly commitment. Responsibilities
- Make outbound phone calls and respond to incoming inquiries regarding student accounts.
- Answer emails promptly and professionally.
- Post insurance charges accurately to student accounts.
- Perform electronic filing and maintain organized records.
- Run and review financial and account-related reports for accuracy.
- Prepare and send communications to students regarding account status and balances.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (phone and email).
