???? Medical Assembler – $19.00–$19.53/hr | Cleanroom & Precision Assembly

As a Medical Assembler, you’ll work with microscopes, tiny components, specialized tools, and advanced equipment to produce critical medical parts such as stents, catheters, leads, and implantable devices . You’ll rotate through multiple production areas, receive structured training, and develop highly valuable skills in medical manufacturing.

???? What You’ll Do

• Perform coil winding in a cleanroom by setting up machines, placing coils, and winding fine wires around spindles
• Gown for cleanroom work using smocks, booties, hair nets, beard nets, and safety glasses
• Use microscopes extensively (30–60% of the day) to inspect, cut, manipulate, and assemble tiny components
• Rotate across multiple departments including coiling, molding, CEA assembly, laser welding, and implantable housings
• Inspect molded parts , deburr components, and use tools like pliers, files, and knives to finish parts
• Perform CEA assembly on multiple lines, working under microscopes for 60% of the shift
• Operate laser welding machines to weld extremely small medical components with precision
• Run presses and stamping machines in the implantable housings area, inspecting and deburring metal parts
• Follow detailed work instructions and travelers to complete assemblies accurately
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow contamination‑control procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and report defects promptly

???? Essential Skills

• Strong hand dexterity for tiny parts and fine‑motor tasks comparable to sewing
• 4–6+ months medical manufacturing experience or similar small‑parts assembly work
• Microscope experience in assembly or inspection environments
• Ability to follow written instructions with accuracy and consistency
• Comfort sitting or standing 8 hours depending on the station
• Mechanical aptitude for machine‑based work in housings and stamping areas

???? Additional Qualifications

• Experience with medical device assembly including stents, catheters, leads, or housings
• Laser welding or coil winding experience is highly beneficial
• Comfort using microscopes for long periods (up to 60% of shift)
• Ability to thrive in repetitive, detail‑driven work while maintaining quality
• Willingness to move between cleanroom and non‑cleanroom areas as production needs change

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.53/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
