Operator I – Medical Device Manufacturing
St. Paul, MN | Onsite
6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 40 hrs/week
12 months contract (subject to extension or conversion to permanent)

Job Summary:
Seeking an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under supervision, this role performs assembly, repair, testing, and documentation activities for pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, repair, and test medical device components following standardized procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation to ensure part traceability.
• Follow safety, quality, QMS, EMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Use electronic data collection systems and computer software.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions clearly with manufacturing leadership.
• Prioritize tasks based on timing, importance, and production requirements.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with small components and perform hands-on manufacturing tasks.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, medical device, or production experience is a plus.
