Job Summary

Voss Properties Corp. is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on position involves general and preventative maintenance, repairs, and property improvements across a portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-use commercial buildings in South County and St. Charles County. Responsibilities

• Perform general property repairs, preventative maintenance, and suite turnovers.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems: basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Patch and repair drywall, paint interiors and exterior, and perform basic plastering.
• Replace or repair electrical fixtures, outlets, and switches.
• Address plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements).
• Conduct minor roofing and gutter repairs (primarily flat roofs).
• Maintain grounds: trash removal, weed control, and basic upkeep.
• Respond to and access tenant maintenance calls.
• Support tenant buildouts and cleanouts as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (commercial or residential).
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with tenants.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license (company van provided during work hours).

Schedule

• Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation

• $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
• Based on experience and demonstrated skill level
