Our Irvine office is looking for a Paralegal to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will assist attorneys with tenant-contested evictions and ensure the efficient and timely production of documents in the trial phase of the unlawful detainer process.**About Us:**With nearly 50 years in the California legal industry and six offices statewide, our firm was founded on a commitment to customer service that has flourished within our culture of inclusion and diversity. It is our mission to provide the highest quality, cost-effective legal services to our clients.**Compensation:**$30.00-$35.00 (DOE) + Benefits**Responsibilities:*** Conduct legal research and produce and draft legal documents and pleadings* Support attorneys with preparation of prelitigation letters and notices* Perform e-filing and additional administrative duties as needed by the department* Assist in heavy client contact via phone and email.* Provide backup assistance for additional intake department staff as needed**Qualifications:**We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:* Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience* Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents* Previous administrative office experience in a high-volume environment* Professional communication skills via telephone and email* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task* Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute; versatile computer skillsThe following qualifications are preferred:* Knowledge of unlawful detainers* Familiar with local county court rules and procedures* ProLaw experience**Schedule:**Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.We currently offer a hybrid work model for select positions within the Firm.
