We are seeking an accomplished Tax Director who brings exceptional technical expertise, a passion for developing professionals, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This is an opportunity for an experienced tax leader to oversee a portfolio of client relationships, influence strategic tax decisions, collaborate with firm leadership, and play an integral role in the continued growth of an established practice. What You’ll Do Lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Serve as a trusted advisor, identifying tax-saving opportunities, mitigating risks, and helping clients navigate complex financial decisions. Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. Partner with firm leadership to identify business development opportunities and expand existing client relationships. Oversee complex tax planning and projections involving multi-entity business structures. Manage IRS and state tax audits, notices, negotiations, and dispute resolution. Monitor evolving tax legislation and proactively advise clients on potential implications. Champion quality control, operational efficiency, and effective utilization of tax technology. What You Bring Active CPA license required. 20+ years of progressive tax experience , including 5–10 years in a management or leadership capacity within public accounting. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation involving individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Demonstrated success managing complex client engagements and cultivating long-term advisory relationships. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven commitment to mentoring and developing tax professionals. Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, actionable recommendations. Experience with CCH Axcess, ProSystem, or comparable tax software platforms. Strong professional judgment, integrity, and commitment to exceptional client service. Why Consider This Opportunity?
