Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery/Antepartum

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7A-7P

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery/Antepartum unit will provide high-quality care for patients during labor, delivery, and antepartum periods. The nurse will manage high-risk antepartum patients and provide support during C-sections and other related procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide care to laboring patients with a ratio of 2:1.
Assist in the OBED with a ratio of 3:1.
Monitor antepartum patients with a ratio of 4:1.
Participate in surgical procedures in the OR with a 1:1 patient ratio.
Administer medications and treatments as required.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of Texas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification.
Experience in labor and delivery, antepartum care, and C-section circulation.
