About the Position

Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA) – PRN
Colorado | Weekday PRN | 1–2 Shifts/Week | Occupational Health Clinics

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for ongoing PRN Occupational Medicine coverage across Colorado. Current priority needs are in Loveland, Greeley, Longmont, and Colorado Springs , with additional opportunities throughout the state.

These are dedicated walk-in occupational health clinics—not urgent care. Providers will evaluate and treat work-related injuries, perform DOT and employment physicals, and manage a focused occupational medicine patient population averaging approximately 2 patients per hour .

This opportunity is designed for clinicians with hands-on Occupational Medicine experience who want flexible weekday coverage, predictable 8A–5P clinic hours, and the ability to pick up approximately 1–2 shifts per week.

Schedule

• PRN locum tenens coverage
• 1–2 shifts per week highly desired
• Most clinics: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch
• Coverage scheduled regionally based on availability
• Current and upcoming needs in Loveland, Greeley, Longmont, and Colorado Springs

Clinical Practice

• Walk-in Occupational Medicine
• Approximately 2 patients per hour
• Evaluate and treat occupational and work-related injuries
• DOT and employment physicals
• Musculoskeletal injuries
• Lacerations and basic wound care
• Non-compound fractures
• Return-to-work focused care
• SYSTOC EMR
• Independent practice at some locations; select clinics may have additional provider coverage

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Colorado license
• DOT certification required; providers currently completing certification may be considered
• Hands-on Occupational Medicine experience required
• Comfortable practicing independently
• Strong clinical documentation and communication
• Dependable availability for accepted shifts
