About the Role As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead end-to-end recruitment for legal and attorney roles, ensuring the organisation attracts, engages, and hires exceptional legal talent. You will act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and leadership, translating business needs into effective recruiting plans and market-informed hiring decisions. Your work will directly impact the organisation's ability to deliver high-quality legal services and maintain a strong employer brand within the legal community. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for legal and attorney positions, from requisition intake through to offer acceptance and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create accurate job descriptions, and design effective selection processes for legal hires. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-calibre attorneys and legal professionals through multiple channels. Screen and interview candidates, assessing legal experience, technical competence, and cultural fit against defined criteria. Maintain and optimise an organised pipeline of legal talent, proactively building relationships for current and future hiring needs. Use recruitment data and market insights to advise stakeholders on candidate availability, compensation trends, and time-to-hire expectations. Coordinate and manage the interview process, ensuring a professional, consistent candidate experience and timely feedback. Oversee offer negotiation and acceptance, collaborating with HR and hiring managers to secure successful hires within budget and policy guidelines. Key Requirements Proven experience in talent acquisition with a strong focus on legal recruiting and attorney recruiting. Demonstrated success managing high-volume or specialised legal requisitions in a law firm, corporate legal department, or legal-focused agency. Solid understanding of legal role structures, practice areas, and typical career paths within the legal profession. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools to manage pipelines and workflows. Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions with data and market knowledge. Strong interview and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate legal expertise and professional competencies. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a professional, client-focused approach. Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent searches in a hybrid working environment. Experience designing and improving recruitment processes specifically for legal and attorney roles. Background in employer branding or talent marketing targeted at legal professionals. Familiarity with diversity-focused recruiting strategies within the legal sector. Exposure to workforce planning or strategic talent projects related to legal teams. Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior recruiters in legal talent acquisition. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field.
