Line Cook Wanted – The Bradbury CafeThe Bradbury Cafe is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and hospitality-driven Line Cook to join our culinary team in downtown Charlottesville. We pride ourselves on consistent attention to detail, exceptional food, and great service. If you want to work in a collaborative kitchen environment with excellent daytime hours, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation: Assist in preparing a fresh, scratch-made breakfast and lunch menu, including frittatas, brick oven pizzas, and artisan sandwiches.Station Management: Maintain proficiency in cooking techniques, handle knife work skillfully, and follow house recipes accurately.Kitchen Sanitation: Keep your station clean, safe, and fully aligned with food health regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.Team Collaboration: Foster a positive climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.Guest Experience: Bring energy and passion to ensure guests have exceptional culinary experiences.Requirements & QualificationsSchedule: Consistent availability Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.Punctuality: Highly reliable and committed to showing up on time daily.Experience: Basic understanding of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and safety standards.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds.Key Traits: Organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and a natural problem solver with an innate desire to help others.What You'll GetCompensation: $17.00/hour to start, depending on experience.Work-Life Balance: Premium daytime shifts that leave your evenings completely free.Growth: Hands-on training and mentorship from a passionate, collaborative team.Culture: A supportive, positive environment filled with people who want to help you succeed.
