Job Description

• Design Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy plans aimed at their functional achievements
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and self-care routines
• Collaborate within an Interdisciplinary Team: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to provide thorough, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on techniques to promote ongoing success at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adapting treatments as necessary to keep patients on their path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential
