Required skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with licensed credentials to practice in Michigan
• Certification in Gastroenterology from an accredited board
• Proven experience in performing ERCP procedures
• Strong clinical skills in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have skills:

• Prior experience working in hospital-based GI clinics
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to manage a busy schedule with efficiency and professionalism

Preferred education and experience:

• Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain one prior to assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of gastroenterology practice experience in a hospital setting

Other requirements:

• Availability to work scheduled dates, including coverage during weekdays and 24-hour weekend call shifts
• Ability to handle inpatient and outpatient scopes (18 outpatient/20 inpatient per day)
• Onsite support staff collaboration (physicians, APPs, support services)
• Willingness to comply with travel and expense policies, including clocking in/out via DocTime and adhering to billing guidelines
