Required Skills:

• Active RN license in Michigan or appropriate compact state
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with patient safety protocols and evidence-based practices

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• BLS and/or ACLS certification
• Prior experience in trauma, stroke, or vascular surgery units
• Ability to educate patients and families effectively

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience
• Prior hospital-based nursing experience in a similar role
