Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Shift Time: 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM
Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation

Total Weekly Compensation: From $1,500.00 [Traveller]

Local Pay Rate: $40.00/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide patient-centered clinical support in a healthcare setting. The LPN/LVN will support both front-office and back-office operations, including patient intake, rooming, vital signs, medication administration, clinical procedures, scheduling, and other patient care activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative relationship with providers and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care by obtaining and documenting vital signs.
• Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Provide patient support and education during exams and treatments.
• Document patient visits and enter relevant information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) .
• Administer medications in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.
• Administer vaccinations, including flu shots, as required.
• Conduct and support biometric screenings.
• Process patient phone calls and messages according to established clinical protocols.
• Provide patients with appropriate instructions regarding healthcare, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Communicate relevant patient health information to providers.
• Draw blood and provide other clinical support as required.
• Assist with patient scheduling and front-office activities.
• Answer phones and assist patients with general inquiries.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Support health education and outreach initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• Current and active LPN/LVN license .
• Current BLS certification .
• Experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient, clinic, occupational health, or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong computer and EHR skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment.
• Ability to make decisions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish positive and professional relationships with patients and healthcare staff.
