District Business Manager, Oncology- Southern CA

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a District Business Manager to lead an oncology sales team across Southern California. The role involves managing sales professionals, analyzing market performance, and developing strategic plans to drive business growth while promoting innovative cancer therapies. The successful candidate will report to a Regional Business Director and work across a matrix organization to meet sales targets and customer objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead district sales team by creating vision aligned with organizational objectives
- Analyze performance data and market trends to develop strategic business plans
- Coach team on hematology products, marketplace dynamics, and selling excellence
- Facilitate growth and development of team members based on individual needs
- Foster continuous learning environment while managing change and business focus
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Prior District Business Manager role in pharmaceutical sales or equivalent team leadership
- Hematology experience strongly preferred including reimbursement and access knowledge
- Proven track record leading high-performing teams to exceed goals
- Strong analytical, selling, and business acumen skills with market access knowledge
- Valid driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving risk profile
- Demonstrated success selecting, developing, and retaining talented individuals
Compensation: $180,120-$218,257 base
