This role is responsible for investigating claims, coordinating claim activity, maintaining documentation, and supporting timely and compliant claim outcomes.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, communication, and working in a fast paced environment where organization and follow through are important. Prior claims or insurance experience is beneficial, but not required. Acrisure is open to training individuals who demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and an interest in building a long-term career within claims and insurance operations.Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, insurance, healthcare, legal support, administration, banking, hospitality, or other client-facing environments are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Manage and support a caseload of multi-state claims, including workers' compensation, indemnity, employer's liability, and subrogation exposuresConduct initial claim investigations, including gathering information and communicating with involved partiesCommunicate with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and other stakeholders throughout the claims processMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the claims management systemSupport timely delivery of benefits, notices, and claim related communicationsCoordinate return to work activities and follow up with medical providers and employers as neededAssist with litigation management activities and coordination with defense counsel when applicableReview medical and expense documentation for accuracy and claim relevancePrepare claim status updates and participate in claim review discussionsCollaborate with leadership and team members on complex or escalated claimsSupport timely and professional claim resolution strategiesPerform additional duties and projects as assignedRequirements:Previous claims, insurance, customer service, healthcare, legal support, administrative, or related professional experience beneficialWorkers' compensation claims experience beneficial but not requiredInterest in learning claims handling and insurance operationsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentationProblem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and softwareLitigation exposure or claims handling experience beneficialEducation and Licenses:High school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree or additional education beneficialRelevant state licensing beneficial or ability to obtain as requiredPay Details:The base compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
