Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Christiansburg, Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 5:00 PM - 8:30 AM, with flexibility M-F 8:30 - 5. Will consider 4/10's.

Job Description: As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families in a hospice setting. Your role will include appropriately handling calls, providing education, and offering emotional support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Handle calls by phone or conduct home or facility visits when necessary or requested.
• Provide education and emotional support for patients and families.
• Document all activities and communications electronically after duty shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1+ year of experience in hospice care is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Good driving record and reliable transportation are required.
