Head of Projects

PARDGROUP SPA New York, United States Project Management Hybrid Company Description Pardgroup, a leading company in integrated services for retail and large-scale distribution, is looking for a new Head of Projects to join its Retail Services Team in New York. Position The new colleague will carry out the following activities: Lead and coordinate a team of Project Managers, including workload planning, performance monitoring, and professional development; Manage client relationships, as a senior point of contact for strategic clients, including participation in meetings and site inspections; Lead and manage tenders with potential clients, providing technical insights; Hold full ownership of a portfolio of projects, ensuring a transversal and strategic view on priorities, risks, timelines, margins, and overall performance; Act as a reference point for complex and critical project situations, providing high-level problem-solving and escalation management; Coordinate sites, suppliers, and subcontractors, developing and maintaining strong working relationships; Oversee budget control, reporting, and the preparation of Health & Safety (H&S) documentation; Coordinate colleagues in the delivery of complex projects, providing guidance and high-level insights; Support senior management with a landscape view of ongoing projects, risks, and opportunities, contributing to strategic decision-making. Requirements The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and in the retail sector; Academic background in architecture, interior design, or a related field; Proven previous experience in managing complex projects and coordinating work teams; Strong understanding of P&L dynamics, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting; Knowledge of 2D and 3D software (e.g. AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Excellent knowledge of the English language; Willingness to travel locally and internationally,if required; Excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
