Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Assignment length of 13 or 18 weeks available to provide winter coverage. Must work at least every other holiday.

Highlights:

• Rotating shift schedule with potential to float to similar Med/Surg Telemetry units and Emergency Department for same patient population
• 13-week or 18-week contract options available for winter coverage
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
• Pre-start modules required; 4 hours billable with average 6-15 hours total
• Ability to extend assignment based on performance and facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (must be permanent license)
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS - all must be active at submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in specialty from within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Negative drug screen required; exempt from nicotine testing
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (2 attempts maximum)
