MAINTENANCE WORKER

Rite of Passage is hiring a Maintenance Technician at the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Pay $22 to $30 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician will: Support the day‑to‑day upkeep and repair of residential units and facility spaces. Complete work orders and perform general building maintenance. Assist with lighting, basic electrical, and HVAC‑related repairs. Apply troubleshooting and routine maintenance practices as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in HVAC, electrical, and lighting maintenance. Minimum age of 21 years. Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical exam, and tuberculosis test. Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry. Active driver’s license and meet requirements to become an ROP‑eligible driver. HVAC licensure is not required, though practical experience is strongly preferred. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. #J-18808-Ljbffr
