Part-Time Stock AssociateAs a Part-Time Stock Associate at our Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Outlet Store, you will support store operations, inventory accuracy, shipment processing, and customer experience.This role includes stockroom organization, furniture and merchandise handling, customer pickups, loading assistance, and sales floor support. Candidates should be available Wednesday mornings at 6:00 AM for shipments, which typically occur every 1–2 weeks. Shipment days may occasionally shift based on delivery timing or business needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess shipments of product safely and in a timely mannerEnsure smooth transitions of product from delivery trucks to storage and sales floorUpholding stockroom organization standardsEnsure all merchandise is properly tagged for inventory accuracyPrepare purchased product and assist customers with loading furniture and accessories into their vehiclesDemonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skillsRepresent the brand through personal appearance and professionalismJob Requirements1+ years of retail experience, stock receiving preferredPrioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with changing prioritiesProven experience upholding safety guidelines and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of othersExcellent written and verbal communicationPositive, professional attitude and demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting customersProficient with current technology i.e. iPads, Mac, PCPhysical RequirementsMust be able to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories in excess of 100 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelinesAbility to maneuver effectively around sales floor, stockroom and loading docksPosition entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbingPart Time Stock associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts during the week (Monday to Thursday) and one on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday).BenefitsWe offer competitive salary and generous employee discounts.About Surya, Inc.Surya Inc. is an innovative home furnishings company catering to a variety of lifestyles.
