Registered Nurse - Labor and DeliveryLocation: Dickson, TNAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Full-time, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and delivery, including the ability to labor and recover mothers, alongside receiving and transitioning newborns. The position entails working in a highly collaborative and supportive team environment, focused on providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care, including assessment and stabilization of newborns.Manage active labors, inductions, C-sections, and couplet care.Perform fetal monitoring and assist in procedures such as C-sections, vacuum or forceps deliveries, and circumcisions.Conduct daily patient rounding and safety checks.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist in emergency situations as required.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Must have labor and delivery experience, with knowledge of OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.Advanced skills in fetal monitoring and experience with induction techniques (Pitocin, cervidil) are preferred.Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training are required.Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
