Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on your credentials)
• Providing education for patients and their families on wellness practices, preventative measures, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
