Production Operator Job Details
Pay Rate: $20.25/hr
Location : Carrollton, KY
Production Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma and some post-secondary education preferred.
- Ability to use Windows computers.
- Ability to use measurement devices such as tape measures and micrometers.
- Ability to complete written production forms.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Forklift or mobile equipment experience is a plus; training provided.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or WCM experience is a plus.
- Ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extensive walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, gripping, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature changes.
As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with manufacturing activities throughout the plant.
- Operate automated manufacturing equipment after training.
- Make equipment and process adjustments to maintain product specifications.
- Perform quality checks and record results in production and quality systems.
- Change equipment settings during production changeovers.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and minor operator maintenance.
- Recognize equipment or process deviations and report concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Follow all company safety and production procedures.
