Plant Operator

Universal Industrial Gases, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nucor, is seeking a qualified Plant Operator in Ghent, KY to monitor, maintain, and optimize 24/7 continuous air separation and cryogenic plant operations. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, relevant experience in industrial gas, cryogenics, or continuous process facilities, and a general knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive Healthcare & Coverage: Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days, alongside company-paid life and disability insurance. Bonuses & Profit Sharing: Yearly UIG KPI bonuses, pay-for-performance bonuses, and an annual Nucor profit-sharing payout that historically averages around 17% of annual earnings.
