Job Overview As an Account Manager, you will step into a senior leadership role, overseeing the development and execution of communication strategies for key clients, and managing a team of managers. Building upon your experience, you will play a critical role in strategic planning for high-level client engagement, ensuring the successful implementation of communication initiatives, and contributing to the growth and success of both clients and the organization. Job Duties Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic communication guidance and support. Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth, collaborating with the business development team to develop effective strategies. Lead the development of comprehensive communication strategies, incorporating market insights, competitive analysis, and industry trends to drive client success. Provide strategic directions to the team, ensuring that communication plans align with client objectives and organizational goals. Manage and mentor a team of Communication Account Managers, providing guidance, professional development opportunities, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Oversee team performance, setting clear goals and expectations, and ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators. Oversee the execution of complex and integrated communication campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation across various communication channels. Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations for enhancing campaign effectiveness and achieving client objectives. Collaborate with C-suite executives and key stakeholders, providing strategic communication insights and contributing to high-level decision-making processes. Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization. Conduct in-depth analysis of communication initiatives and client outcomes, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and clients. Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and enhance overall communication strategies and performance. Skills Required Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, guiding the team to achieve outstanding results. Ability to provide strategic direction aligned with organizational goals. Outstanding client relationship management skills, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities for account expansion. Strong business acumen, understanding industry trends, and identifying growth opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and reports convincingly. Proficient in advanced communication tools and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a keen understanding of industry trends and best practices. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience/Education Required A master's degree may be preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in client management, strategic communication planning, and team leadership, preferably in a managerial capacity. Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that drive business results and client satisfaction.
